This historical residence known as the “Gassaway Estate” was
constructed circa 1937-1943 for local businessman Frank
Gassaway from locally sourced native Sedona “red rock”,
employing Native American labor guided by Italian Stonemasons.
The massive stone home combines native and Art Deco features.
Its elevation controls an overlook of Oak Creek, surrounded
by Sedona’s world famous monumental red rocks, and boasting
a National Forest boundary. These factors set it apart from
any other view or acreage property in Sedona.
